2-year-old girl rescued from 40-feet-deep well in Madhya Pradesh’s Vidisha

A two-year-old girl was rescued by a local man after she fell into a 40-feet deep dry well while playing in Nandwana locality of Vidisha district of Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday evening.
A two-year-old girl fell into a 40-feet deep dry well while playing in Nandwana locality of Vidisha district of Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday evening. However, the girl was later rescued.
It was on Wednesday evening that the little girl fell into a 40-feet deep dry well while playing in Nandwana locality. In no time, locals gathered at the spot.
To rescue the girl from the well, a young man from the village tied himself with a rope, and went down, further pulling out the girl from the deep dry well.
Though both the girl and the man sustained minor injuries, the duo was taken to a hospital for treatment and is currently out of danger.
Meanwhile, this is not the first case of a child falling into a well. In October, 11 people were killed while rescuing a child who had fallen into a well in Ganj Basoda.
