2 sisters, mother of fraudster arrested for attacking cops in Gurugram

Gurugram Police held two sisters and the mother of a fraudster for allegedly attacking cops at the gates of a police station here. An FIR has been registered against all three women.
Three women from the family of a fraudster have been held for allegedly attacking police personnel at the gates of a police station here, police said on Thursday.
An FIR has been registered against two sisters and the mother of the fraudster. While the police were able to nab three women from the spot on Wednesday, one man managed to flee away, they said.
According to the police, family members of the accused, nabbed in a fraud case, attacked a police team at the gate of New Colony police station in the district.

ASI Saroj, the investigating officer, said, "We have nabbed three women accused and are conducting raids to nab the fourth accused. He will also be nabbed soon."
Gurugram Police were investigating a fraud case registered in the New Colony police station a few days ago. The police reached the house of the fraudster and nabbed him from the Madanpuri Colony.
Talking to PTI, complainant sub-inspector Karambir said, “It was on Wednesday afternoon when our team went to the accused’s residence and interrogated him and we found he was involved in the fraud case. After informing his family, we arrested the accused. We had reached the gate of the police station with the accused when suddenly his brother Varun, two sisters and his mother came from behind and started thrashing the police team,” the complaint said.
