Two women were shot but are in stable condition, the Philadelphia Police Department said.
Two women were shot during a victory parade in Philadelphia for the Super Bowl LIX winners, the Eagles.
The shooting occurred along Ben Franklin Parkway as thousands of Eagles fans came out to celebrate Sunday’s victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, according to police.
One of the women, 27, was shot in her left leg. The other woman, 20, was shot in the upper left thigh, the Philadelphia Police Department told HuffPost in a statement. Both were taken to the hospital and are in stable condition.
Police have not found a weapon or made made any arrests, and the investigation is ongoing.
Brady, a nonprofit organization against gun violence, responded to the latest shooting in a statement.
