2 LeT militants killed in encounter with security forces in J&K's Shopian

Two militants associated with the Lashkar-e-Taiba outfit were killed in an encounter with security forces in South Kashmir's Shopian district, an official said on Saturday.

Two militants associated with the Lashkar-e-Taiba outfit were killed in a gunfight with security forces in Chowgam area of South Kashmir's Shopian district on Saturday, Director-General (DG) Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP), Dilbag Singh, said.

According to sources, the slain militants were identified as Sajad Ahmad Check from Braripora, Shopian, and Raja Basit Nazir from Achan, Pulwama.
