2 bodies recovered from drain in Delhi’s Lodhi Estate area

Two bodies were recovered from a drain near Delhi’s Lodhi Estate area on Tuesday evening.
Two bodies were recovered on Tuesday evening from a drain near the India International Centre in central Delhi. The bodies were bloated and highly decomposed.
According to fire officials, they received information at 6:24 pm about the incident at Kothi number 57 in Lodhi Estate area. Three fire tenders were immediately rushed to the site to recover the bodies.
The victims have been identified as Khurshid (31), son of Alkim, and Sajjad (34), son of Mohd Manjoor. Both the victims are residents of Bihar’s Arariya district.
The cause of death is suspected to be murder. The Delhi Police has registered an FIR and further investigation is underway.
