Radha Krishna Nagar Welfare Association organizes energetic flag march in Malkajgiri to celebrate Republic Day.
An energetic march with a 2,000-foot national flag on the main road of R.K. Nagar and the connecting colonies, organised by Radha Krishna Nagar Welfare Association, marked the 76th Republic Day celebrations in Malkajgiri on Sunday.
Supported by Makthala Foundation, the association, along with residents and students of National High School, marched down the road as they shouted slogans hailing the Constitution and freedom fighters amid chants of ‘Bharat Mata ji Jai’.
Organisers Jalander Goud, V. Soma Sekhar and K. Sanjay Kumar said the flag march event was the first such in Malkajgiri and had been inspired by the ‘Bharat Mata rally’ during Independence Day celebrations last year.
