After India lost the first T20I against England by 8 wickets in Ahmedabad on Friday, middle-order batsman Shreyas Iyer said that the team will not change its batting approach considering the power-hitters in the star-studded lineup. Indian batting-unit collapsed and could manage only 124 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. England chased down the target in just 15.3 overs at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Shreyas Iyer (67), Rishabh Pant (21) and Hardik Pandya (19) were the only India batsmen who scored in double digits. In the post-match press conference Iyer, who came to bat at number 5, added that coming into the Indian team, one has to be flexible in terms of the batting position.More Related News
