An 18-year-old girl died while two others suffered critical injuries after a speeding car hit them in Outer Delhi’s Paschim Vihar area on Wednesday.
An 18-year-old girl died while two others sustained injuries after a speeding car hit them in Outer Delhi’s Paschim Vihar area on Wednesday.
The girls were walking towards their school, Sarvodya Bal Vidyalaya, when the car hit them and then rammed into a truck carrying LPG cylinders.
The incident took place on the Peeragarhi Udyog Nagar Rohtak Highway Road.
The three girls were identified as Manisha, Kalpana and Sanjana. While Manisha died on the spot, the other girls were taken to a Balaji Action Hospital, where they were undergoing treatment.
The accused driver fled the spot, leaving his vehicle behind. Police have also seized the truck which was carrying LPG cylinders.
Further investigations are on.
