Ajith, an 18-month-old child from Tamil Nadu’s Ramanathapuram district, was playing with a cooking utensil at home when it got stuck on his head. After hours of effort, fire department officials cut the vessel open and rescued the child without any harm.
An 18-month-old child, who had gotten his head stuck inside a cooking vessel, was safely rescued by fire department officials in Tamil Nadu’s Ramanathapuram. Officials cut open the vessel with pliers while ensuring there was no harm to the baby, and safely recused the child.
The incident happened in Paramakudi town in Ramanathapuram district. The child, identified as Ajith, was playing in the kitchen at home and was playing with a cooking utensil.
Unexpectedly, the vessel got stuck on Ajith's head. Seeing this, his parents struggled for hours to remove the vessel from the child's head, even as the child screamed for help in fear.
Finally, the Paramakkudy fire station was called in for help. After an hour-long struggle, fire department officials cut open the vessel and rescued the child without any injuries.
