As many as 18 people have died after a fire erupted in a water purifying factory in Pune's Ghotawade Phata.
As many as 18 people have died after a broke out in a water purifying factory at Pirangut industrial zone in Pune's Ghotawade Phata. The Prime Minister has announced an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh each from the PMNRF for the next of kin of those who have lost their lives due to a fire at an industrial unit in Pune, Maharashtra. Rs. 50,000 would be provided to those injured. The fire erupted in the chemical packaging section of the water purifying chemical factory at Pirangut in Mulsi Taluka. According to Devendra Photfode, an official from the Fire department, there were 37 workers in the factory. The officials have recovered 18 bodies while others have been safely evacuated.More Related News
