As many as 17 districts in Karnataka are now seeing a steep increase in the number of coronavirus infections. These districts are Bengaluru Urban, Bengaluru Rural, Uttara Kannada, Hassan, Ballari, Mysuru, Tumakuru, Kolar, Kodagu, Udupi, Shivammogga, Dharwad, Dakshina Kannada, Raichur, Kalaburagi, Mandya and Chikkaballapur.
