A 12-year-old boy in Connecticut was shot multiple times after he hit a car with a snowball on Wednesday.
The boy, along with his 11-year-old friend, were throwing snowballs at cars in Hartford when one of the cars he hit “looped the block” and “fired rounds at the children,” Hartford Police Lt. Aaron Boisvert said at a news conference Thursday.
The 12-year-old was struck multiple times but sustained non-life-threatening injuries, police said. The 11-year-old wasn’t hit by the gunfire.
Boisvert said police are still looking for the vehicle and said he did not know how many people may have been in the car.
