The Middlesex-London Health Unit (MLHU) says there are 11 new COVID-19 cases on Friday and no additional deaths.
The health unit posted eight recoveries, with 131 known active cases in the region.
The seven-day rolling average of daily cases fell to 12.
London Health Sciences Centre says it is caring for six inpatients with COVID-19, including five or fewer in critical care. Five or fewer staff members have tested positive for the virus and are isolating.
Following the province lifting capacity limits on outdoor organized events on Wednesday, the MLHU has lifted a Section 22 Order issued in September to limit social events and parties.
Capacity limits are still in place for indoor and outdoor social gatherings, limited to 25 people indoors and 100 people outdoors, under the Reopening Ontario Act.
"The Reopening Ontario Act still sets capacity limits for social events and indoor organized gatherings," said Dr. Alex Summers, Associate Medical Officer of Health with the MLHU in a statement. "These limits continue to be important and will be enforced as we all aim to reduce the transmission of COVID-19."
The health unit says gatherings should still be held outdoors as much as possible and that people should continue to practice physical distancing.
Capacity limits were lifted for restaurants, gyms and casinos that require patrons to be fully vaccinated on Monday.
Southwestern Public Health has reported nine new COVID-19 cases and no deaths on Friday. There are 79 ongoing cases in Elgin-Oxford.
Huron Perth Public Health posted eight new cases on Friday. There are 31 ongoing cases in the region.
Meanwhile, Ontario reported 419 new COVID-19 cases on Friday and no further deaths. The seven-day average for cases fell to 355, the lowest point since Aug. 11.
There are 130 patients with COVID-19 in critical care across Ontario, including 89 who need a ventilator to breathe.
