1 suspect arrested in suspicious death in southeast Calgary

Homicide detectives are investigating after a man was found dead at a residence in southeast Calgary on Monday morning.
Police were called to a home in the 300 block of Prestwick Terrace S.E. at about 8:25 a.m. for a reported assault, officials said in a release.
On arrival officers found one man dead.
A suspect had fled the scene before police arrived. But a short time later, police arrested a man at a nearby shopping plaza.
It's believed the victim was targeted and that there is no threat to public safety. Police are not looking for other suspects.
Police said an autopsy will be scheduled to determine the manner of death.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Calgary Police Service or contact Crime Stoppers.
