1 person dead in weekend motorcycle crash in northwest London

London police are investigating the first fatal motorcycle crash of the year, in the city's northwest end.
Investigators said it happened early Saturday morning in a residential neighbourhood on Aldersbrooke Road, between Hawthorne Road and Ranchwood Crescent.
One person died, while another person was transported to hospital with serious injuries. That person is expected to live.
Police have not said if a passenger was on the motorcycle or if a bystander was involved in the crash. CBC News will update this story when that information is available.
Police are asking anyone with information about this crash to call them or Crime Stoppers.
