One person has died after two student groups entered into a heated argument outside the gates of Amritsar’s Khalsa College on Wednesday.
One person has died while another is in a critical condition after clashes erupted between students of Khalsa College in Punjab’s Amritsar on Wednesday, June 1.
Two student groups had entered into a heated argument outside the gates of the Khalsa college following which shots were fired. Two people sustained bullet injuries during the clashes, with one of them succumbing to the injuries.
The deceased has been identified as Lovepreet Singh, a resident of Batala.
According to police officials, the fight had broken out over a woman. The police has started an investigation into the incident and are scanning CCTV near the spot.
