
1 dead after reports of Weston shooting, stabbing

One person has died and at least one more is in hospital following reports of a shooting and stabbing in Weston Monday night, Toronto police say.
At 11:45 p.m., police received reports that someone had been shot and stabbed in the area of Old Weston Road and Rockwell Avenue, Toronto police said in a social media post early Tuesday morning.
One man was pronounced dead on the scene, police say, and the homicide unit has been notified.
Another man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to the police statement. Toronto paramedics say two men were taken to hospital from the incident, both in critical, life-threatening condition.
