The district recorded over a thousand COVID-19 cases for the first time since October 10 last year as 1,490 more people tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 on Tuesday. Despite 379 people recovering from the illness, the active caseload has rose to 7,701. The death toll also increased to 929 as three more recent deaths — those of two men aged 86 and 67 and a 49-year-old woman — were attributed to the disease.More Related News
