„Von außen ist es schwer, eine genaue Zahl russischer Verluste zu bestimmen“, sagt András Rácz, Sicherheitsexperte und Russland-Analyst der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Auswärtige Politik. „Aber aus verschiedenen Hinweisen lässt sich ein relativ klares Bild konstruieren.“ Und dieses Bild besagt: Die russische Armee hat erhebliche Personalprobleme.
