Zakia Jafri worked at behest of others: Amit Shah after SC rejected plea against clean chit to PM Modi
India Today
Amit Shah on Saturday said that Zakia Jafri, who had filed a plea against SIT's clean chit to PM Modi and 63 others, worked on someone else's instructions.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday said that Zakia Jafri was working at the direction of activist Teesta Setalvad, who was a co-petitioner in the plea filed before the Supreme Court challenging the SIT's clean chit given to PM Modi in the Gujarat riots case.
Amit Shah told ANI, "Today the Supreme Court said Zakia Jafri worked on someone else's instructions. The NGO signed affidavits of several victims and they didn't even know. Everyone knows Teesta Setalvad's NGO was doing this. When the UPA Govt came to power at that time, it helped the NGO."
