WV Raman set to re-apply for India women's team coach role as BCCI plans to add India A, U-19 responsibilities

The BCCI on Tuesday invited applications for the role of women's team head coach. According to the advertisement, the coach will also have a considerable say in the roadmap for women's U-19 and 'A' teams.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Invited applications for the role of India senior women's cricket team head coach on Tuesday. BCCI published the advertisement on its website as per the requirements of its new constitution which states that the ending of every contractual agreement should be followed by seeking fresh applications. Former India opener WV Raman is all set to reapply for the role of the head coach, according to the Press Trust of India. Raman, who oversaw the preparations for the recently-concluded ODI and T20I series against South Africa, was asked to continue as the head coach despite his contract expiring in October last year. It is believed that the senior team head coach will also have a considerable say in the roadmap for the women's A, U-19 and NCA teams, the report added.More Related News
