West Bengal Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Ariz Aftab wrote to the state's five district polling officers on Friday, requesting that they examine EVMs and VVPATs for possible bypolls.
West Bengal Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Ariz Aftab on Friday sent a letter to five district polling officers in the state. In his letter, Aftab asked them to inspect Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter-Verified Paper Audit Trails (VVPATs) with respect to possible bypolls. "I am directed to forward herewith the schedule of First Level Checking of M3 EVMs/VVPATs for the conduct of By-Elections to WBLA 2021 to be taken up in the districts as mentioned," West Bengal CEO Aftab said in his letter to the district polling officers.More Related News
