WB constable recruitment candidates protest in front of CID HQ over postings

Protest erupted outside CID headquarters in Kolkata as candidates of West Bengal constable recruitment exam demanded to know when they will be recruited into service.

Protest erupted outside Bhawani Bhawan, the CID headquarters in Kolkata, on Monday as candidates who had cleared the West Bengal constable recruitment exam demanded to know when they would get their postings. The candidates had passed the preliminary examination in 2019, followed by clearing the main exam in 2020. They had then appeared for a round of interviews in August 2020.
