Waukesha parade aftermath: community comes together through fundraisers, signs and blue lights
Fox News
Nearly two weeks since the Christmas parade attack in Waukesha, small business owners and employees describe a community that has come together.
On Nov. 21, Darrell Brooks Jr. drove his SUV through barricades and into the parade crowd, allegedly killing six people and leaving dozens injured. Brooks has been charged with six counts of first-degree intentional homicide and is being held on a $5 million cash bail.
"'Waukesha Strong' is on like every sign for every restaurant," Easy Aqua owner Dominic Martino told Fox News. "Everyone burning the blue lights and stuff like that — everywhere you go for the past few days now, it's just blue," Martino told Fox News.
