Water level in Papanasam dam on Wednesday stood at 51.40 feet (maximum permissible level is 143 feet). The dam had an inflow of 350.88 cusecs of water and 254.75 cusecs of water was discharged. The level in Manimuthar dam stood at 85 feet (118 feet). The dam had an inflow of 80 cusecs and 245 cusecs of water was discharged.
