Shiv Sena Member of Parliament Sanjay Raut said on Monday that he had warned some party leaders that suspended assistant police inspector Sachin Vaze, who is the prime accused in the Mansukh Hiren murder case, could cause problems for the Maharashtra government.
Sanjay Raut, Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP, has claimed that he had warned some party leaders about suspended assistant police inspector Sachin Vaze, who is the prime accused in the Mansukh Hiren murder case being probed by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Vaze is currently in the NIA’s custody. "When there was a plan to reinstate Sachin Vaze into the Maharashtra police force, I had informed some leaders that he could create problems for us. [I felt] his behaviour and style of working could lead to some troubles for the government," Sanjay Raut told the media on Monday. The Sena leader refused to name the leaders in question, but noted that "they are well aware of my conversation with them". He said his experience as a journalist gave him this insight into Vaze’s potential to create trouble and noted that “a person is not bad, but sometimes a particular situation makes him so.”More Related News
