UP board makes Aadhaar card mandatory for classes 9 to 12 registrations

UP Board registration 2022: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, UPMSP, has made it compulsory for students to fill up the details of their Aadhaar card in the examination form. This happened after a recent announcement by the UP board authorities, regarding Aadhaar cards being made mandatory for students who are interested in registering for classes 9 to 12.
The exam conducting body updated this information on the official website four days ago.
After this big update in the classes 9 to 12 registration process, students who do not have Aadhaar cards are getting upset. As per sources, the update regarding the Aadhaar card has been taken on the instructions of the Uttar Pradesh government.
Last year, the registration process asked for the Aadhaar number, but it was not mandatory that time.
