Abhishek Banerjee left Kolkata on Sunday to reach Delhi where he has been summoned by the ED for questioning as a part of the agency's investigation in an alleged coal smuggling case.
Trinamool Congress MP and Mamata Banerjee's nephew Abhishek Banerjee left Kolkata on Sunday to reach Delhi. He has been summoned to the national capital by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for questioning in connection with an alleged coal smuggling case on Monday. "I had said this in November and I stick to it. If any central agency can bring any iota of evidence against me in the public domain then I am ready to hang myself in public," Abhishek Banerjee, the Diamond Harbour MP, said before leaving Kolkata.More Related News
