The Ashes: Under-pressure England coach Chris Silverwood said the team had a chat in the dressing room after their defeat in Adelaide and that he is confident of helping the visitors turn it around Down Under.
England head coach Chris Silverwood said on Tuesday that he believes he is the right man for the job despite mounting pressure following their defeat in the pink-ball Test to Australia in Adelaide. Silverwood conceded there is always pressure but that he is confident of turning it around for England in their floundering campaign in the Ashes.
England have slipped to a 0-2 scoreline in a 5-match series Down Under. They were hammered by 9 wickets in the series opener in Brisbane and slipped to a 275-run defeat in the day-night Test in Adelaide.
