A 10-year-old Carolina mix named Velcro spent two years at an Austin, Texas, shelter before being adopted by a senior citizen who wanted a pet dog who matched her slow-paced lifestyle.
The elderly dog has arthritis along with "progressive neurological and musculoskeletal challenges with his spine and hind [legs]," the representative continued. Sydney Borchers is a lifestyle production assistant with Fox News Digital.
