Tamil Nadu man dies after detached tyre from truck hits him | Video

A man in Tamil Nadu’s Kancheepuram died after a tyre got detached from a truck and hit him.
A 45-year-old man walking along a road died after a tyre from a truck got detached and slammed into him at high speed.
Police identified the deceased as Murali, an auto-rickshaw driver in the Sriperambudur area.
The incident took place when Murali was walking towards his home after buying groceries on June 1.

Pedestrians immediately called an ambulance and Murali was taken to Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital but unfortunately died.
The CCTV footage showed that Murali was walking near the shop and had just stopped to check his shirt pocket when the tyre struck him from behind, gravely injuring him. The tyre missed another pedestrian who had just crossed the road.
The police have detained the truck driver for questioning and further investigation is underway.
