Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah actor Mayur Vakani Covid positive, in hospital

Actor Mayur Vakani of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame has tested positive for Covid-19. In an exclusive chat with IndiaToday.in, the actor revealed that he might be discharged from the hospital soon.

Mayur Vakani, who plays Sundar Lal on popular sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The actor is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Ahmedabad, along with his wife, who is also Covid-19 positive. In an exclusive chat with IndiaToday.in, Mayur Vakani revealed that he is recovering and will soon be discharged from the hospital. He said, "Right now my health is fine and I might be discharged from hospital in one or two days. I will have to take a corona test and if the results are negative, I will get a discharge from the hospital. My health is improving and I feel much better now. " He further added, "My wife has also tested Covid positive but she did not have many symptoms so she is quarantined at home and is being treated there. I had to be admitted to the hospital because of more symptoms. However, I am much better now."
