A South Korean woman has revealed that she spent Rs 48 lakh on several surgeries to look like Kim Kardashian.
A South Korean woman has revealed that she spent Rs 48 lakh (60k USD) on several cosmetic surgeries to look like reality television star Kim Kardashian.
Cherri Lee, who is 28 years old, said she grew up watching Kardashian and wanted to be like her. “Kim has always been an inspiration to me and she’s the most beautiful woman in the world in my eyes,” she told South West News Service according to the New York Post.
Lee has undergone 15 surgeries to make herself look like the SKIMS founder. She had her first surgery at the age of 20. She opted for a procedure to get double eyelids. Since then, she has gone under the knife many times, including two breast augmentations, facial reconstruction jobs and Brazilian butt lifts.
“I actually look like a completely different person now to before,” she said. “I look Western, and some of my Korean family don’t even recognize me anymore,” she added.
Does Lee regret getting the surgeries done? Her reply is a big “no”. She said her only regret was that she didn’t do it sooner.
For Lee, it was while dealing with a breakup in the 2010s that she decided to transform her appearance. After her stark transformation, she said her ex-boyfriend wants to reignite their relationship. But, she has other plans.
Lee is currently single and living in South Korea. “I don’t think my facial features look like Kim K but the overall vibe is hers,” she said, and also added that people often tell her that she should be the TV star’s body double.
