South Kashmir village youth undertakes innovative job creation initiative

In 2007, 40-year-old Bilal had set up a fish farm with the help of his family members, where he rears carp fish. He employs over 10 people every year during the peak season in Autumn at the farm.
Bilal (40), a resident of Nussu area in the Qazigund belt of Anantnag district in Kashmir, went out to look for a government job after completing his post graduation. But, there were none. Hailing from a water-rich village, Bilal decided to make a living out of water. In 2007, he set up a fish farm with the help of his family members, where he rears carp fish (common carp, grass carp and silver carp).More Related News
