South Delhi sees maximum containment zones as active cases increase by 118% in Dec

The active cases of Covid-19 in Delhi increased by 118 per cent in December, with the number climbing to 624 on Wednesday.
Delhi recorded over 100 cases of coronavirus on Wednesday. The sudden surge in cases has pushed the active caseload by 118 per cent in December, said a health bulletin by the Delhi government. With the rise in Covid-19 cases, the containment zones in the city have also increased, with South Delhi having maximum sealed zones.
As of December 22, the number of containment zones in Delhi stood at 184, out of which 83 containment zones are only in South Delhi.
