Shikhar Dhawan, India’s stand-in skipper in the ongoing white-ball series against Sri Lanka, has completed 10,000 runs as an opener in the international cricket. The southpaw achieved the milestone in the first ODI against Sri Lanka in Colombo.

Shikhar Dhawan, captaining India for the first time, was on a roll on Sunday as he kept on breaking records one after the other. Dhawan completed 10,000 runs in international cricket as an opener. He achieved the feat in the first ODI of the three-match series at the R Premadasa Cricket Stadium in Colombo.
