Shibani Dandekar rescued the dog who was abused during Holi. She took to Instagram to make the announcement.
Remember the video in which a group of men threw gulaal during Holi on a dog chained to a wall? The distressing clip spread on the internet like wildfire, sparking fury among netizens. However, we have extremely good news about the dog now. Shibani Dandekar took to Instagram to announce that the pup named Roxie has been rescued and is moving to a “wonderful home”.
Shibani posted the good news on her Instagram stories. She shared a snap of Roxie from the video in which she was being abused with the caption, “Remember Roxie and how badly she was treated a week ago? Swipe to the next story”.

“We managed to rescue Roxie and she is on her way to a wonderful home,” she captioned another story that featured the pup with two individuals in a car.

Shibani also shared a snap of Roxie and wrote, “A massive thank you to @mugdha_khatri and @piaparadise. Without you, this wouldn’t have been possible! Roxie, you are so loved”.
