Shane Warne's autopsy confirms death due to natural causes, no foul play: Thai Police

Thai Police on Monday said autopsy report of Shane Warne showed that the cricketer passed away due to natural causes. The Australian cricketer died on Friday while he was spending time at a villa on his personal trip to Thailand.
The Thai police on Monday revealed that the autopsy of legendary cricketer Shane Warne showed that his death was due to natural causes and that the investigators will summarise the autopsy report soon.
Police Lieutenant General Surachate Hakparn, assistant commissioner-general, said Warne's death had been investigated for several days and there were no signs of foul play.
Shane Warne's family have conveyed the results of the autopsy and they accepted the finding, news agency Reuters reported. His body is all set to be transferred to Australian consular officials for return to the family.
"Today investigators received the autopsy result, in which the medical opinion is that the cause of death is natural," Kissana Phathanacharoen said in a statement.
"Investigators will summarize the autopsy result for prosecutors within the timeframe of the law."
Shane Warne on Friday passed away aged 52 on his personal trip to Thailand. His family had said in a statement that Warne died due to a suspected heart attack after he was found unconscious at a villa in Thailand.
A friend of Warne, Tom Hall, who was staying at the same resort where the cricketer was found unconscious in his room, said there were "no unusual circumstances" surrounding the death.
