Sanjana Sanghi, in conversation with IndiaToday.in, spoke about her Rashtra Kavach Om co-star Aditya Roy Kapur. The film releases on July 1.
Ever since the trailer of Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjana Sanghi's upcoming film Rashtra Kavach Om released, the audience was seen gushing about the former's chiselled physique. Now, joining in is actress Sanjana Sanghi, who too, confessed to being 'dumbfounded' by Aditya in the film.
Also, Sanjana and Aditya have teamed up for the first time in Rashtra Kavach Om. It also marks her first-ever action flick. Talking to IndiaToday.in, Sanjana opened up about collaborating with Aditya, her work experience on the sets, and more.
Sanjana Sanghi and Aditya Roy Kapur are busy with the promotions of Rashtra Kavach Om. Heaping praise on her co-star Aditya, Sanjana told us, "There are no two ways about it. I couldn't have done Om without Om being Adi [Aditya Roy Kapur]. I have never experienced this level. There's a saying that someone will be there to catch you when you fall - this was literal and metaphorical. I mean every single day of this journey, when I was scared or nervous, I knew that on set or otherwise, there is nothing that I can't do. Adi had done a little bit of action in Malang. He's been around far longer than me, so there are things beyond just the action piece, that a true friend will always share with you. So helping in all sorts of ways, more than I can put into words."
Ask Sanjana what she thinks of Aditya's physique in Om, to which, she responds, "Oh man! I was like in the 10th or 11th standard when Aashiqui 2 was released. And in one single wave, every girl had a crush on Adi and now this (Om) was a 2.0 of that. I had seen him transform into Om. I was with him on that journey. We would be meeting every single day and working on our characters and on the script. But when that climax sequence happened, I genuinely was dumbfounded. It is the only word for I think all of us on set. I was like, I do want to act for the next three days I just wanted to see the monitor, so it was that."
Rashtra Kavach Om is all set to release on July 1.
