RCMP search for suspects after 2 people severely injured in stabbing in The Pas

Police are asking residents of The Pas to be on the lookout for one or more suspects who are still at large following a stabbing that left two people severely injured Friday afternoon.
RCMP responded to Edwards Avenue in the area of 3rd Street West shortly before 4 p.m. after reports of a stabbing.
"No further reports of violence have been received," RCMP said in news release on Friday night. "When this incident occurred, there were many people in the vicinity."
The release said two people were "severely injured," and one or more suspects involved have yet to be captured. Residents are asked to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
Mounties remain at the scene of the stabbing. The public is asked to avoid the area and motorists should be aware of emergency personnel working at the scene, RCMP said.
