An old clip from 2019 showing the first interview of Ranu Mondal has gone viral now where she can be seen eating popcorn.
Ranu Mondal was just a woman sitting at the Ranaghat Railway Station in West Bengal, begging for alms in tattered and torn clothes back in August,2019. Incidentally, one single clip of her singing Ek Pyaar Ka Nagma Hai from the movie Shor made her an internet sensation overnight as she mesmerised all and sundry with her melodious voice. Soon enough, Ranu was called to Mumbai by music director Himesh Reshammiya to sing for his movie Happy, Hardy and Heer. Ranu grabbed all the limelight with her rags-to-riches story and all eyes were on her. Now, an old clip showing the first interview of Ranu Mondal has gone viral now where she can be seen eating popcorn.
The video, shared on YouTube originally two years ago, shows Ranu at a movie theatre. As reporters encircled Ranu to ask her questions, she can be seen eating popcorn without answering any of the questions. This behaviour was not well received by netizens as they thoroughly criticised Ranu’s attitude.
