Both the BJP and the Congress expressed satisfaction with the Panchayati Raj election results in four districts of Rajasthan — Baran, Karauli, Ganganagar, and Kota.
Both the BJP and the Congress on Tuesday appeared to be satisfied with the Panchayati Raj election results in four districts of Rajasthan.
The State Election Commission announced the results for 4 districts — Baran, Karauli, Ganganagar and Kota. As many as 278 Congress candidates emerged victorious while the BJP secured 165 seats. Apart from that, 97 Independents, 13 candidates of the CPI(M) and 14 BSP candidates also won in the local body elections.
