Rahul Dravid likely to reapply as BCCI invites application for NCA Head of Cricket role

Rahul Dravid's contract as National Cricket Academy Head role has come to an end. The former India captain is likely to reapply for a 2-year extension even as he is linked to the India men's team head coach role.
Rahul Dravid is likely to reapply for the post of Head of Cricket at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has invited job applications for the all-important role. Dravid was appointed as the NCA head in 2019 and the board invited applications as per protocol as the former India captain's contract has ended. Dravid has been credited for playing a significant role in helping create a strong bench strength for India during his days as U-19 coach and India A coach was appointed as the NCA head in August 2019. According to the Press Trust of India, Dravid is likely to reapply for a two-year extension. The last date for application is August 15.More Related News
