Doha: The Business Year’s latest research on the Qatari economy is in full swing, with the upcoming “The Business Year: Qatar 2022” set to release as Qatar plays host to the FIFA World Cup. And on top of the analysis on how the 2022 FIFA World Cup has impacted the local economy, the publication will include a special feature on women in leadership positions in Qatar and their contribution to Qatar National Vision 2030.
Through this coverage, The Business Year will invite inspiring women to share their words and come together to represent the country and its female leadership. In order to shed more light on this topic shaping Qatar’s economy and society, The Business Year has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Qatari Businesswomen Association (QBWA). The signing ceremony was facilitated by QBWA Vice-Chairwoman Aisha Al Fardan and The Business Year Country Manager Nataly Almanza.
During the occasion, Al Fardan stated: “QBWA is very happy to be working with The Business Year to best capture how women are contributing to the development of Qatar, in a context where the country will gain international exposure thanks to the final preparations for the FIFA World Cup”.
