Qatar nears vaccine milestone of two million people receiving first dose

Doha: Qatar is likely to reach two million figure of people at least having received one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, soon. So far 1,96 5,422 people have received at least one dose under the National COVID-19 Vaccination Program.
The rollout has sped up over the past days with over 20,000 vaccines being administered per day. According to data released by the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) yesterday, as many as 21,461 vaccine doses were administered in the past 24 hours. A total of 3,636,272 doses had been administered. As many as 1,670,850 people have received both doses. Under the National COVID-19 Vaccination Program 79% of the eligible population have now received at least one dose of the vaccine, 98.6% of over 60s (the most vulnerable population group) have been vaccinated with at least one dose, while 93.5% have received both.More Related News
