Pune Police arrests one more accused in TET examination scam

Pune Police have arrested Saurabh Tripathi from Lucknow in connection to the TET examination scam, where answer sheets of 500 failed students were scanned and the actual marks were forged with desired marks in 2018.
Pune Police have arrested a man from Lucknow in connection to the Teacher’s Eligibility Test (TET) examination scam. The man has been identified as Saurabh Tripathi, who was about to leave the country after he obtained a visa to travel to Dubai.Tripathi's arrest came after the arrest of former commissioner of Maharashtra State Council Of Examination (MSCE) Sukhdev Dere. Pune Police have also nabbed Ashwini Kumar, the manager of GA Software Technologies Pvt Ltd, which had been awarded a contract to carry out the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) exam in 2018 by the state Exam Council office.
61-year-old Dere was nabbed from Sangamner in Maharashtra's Ahmednagar district while 49-year-old Ashwini Kumar was taken into custody from Bangalore. GA Software Technologies Pvt Ltd has its head office in Karnataka while its branches are located in major cities of Maharashtra.
