The former Maharashtra Home Minister in a statement claimed that the “Supreme Court has accepted his plea on the ED and it will be heard soon”.
Former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh on Thursday said he will appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED), which had summoned him in connection with its probe into a money-laundering case, “after the legal process is completed”. Mr. Deshmukh in a statement claimed that the “Supreme Court has accepted his plea on the ED and it will be heard soon”. The Supreme Court on Monday refused to grant interim relief to the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Deshmukh, who was seeking protection from any coercive action in connection with the money-laundering case lodged by the ED.More Related News
