After being steady on Friday, the state-run oil companies have increased petrol prices in several cities. On July 17, 2021, petrol has become more expensive by 30 paise per litre, while there has been no change in the price of diesel in the domestic market. The price of petrol has increased to Rs 101.84 in Delhi. At the same time, diesel is being sold at Rs 97.45 per litre in the national capital. Petrol prices are skyrocketing in Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh, reaching Rs 112.41 per litre on Saturday. In Chennai, the petrol rates stand at Rs 102.49. The rate of petrol has moved up by 34 paise in Kolkata, standing at Rs 102.08 per litre. In Bangalore, petrol has reached Rs 105.25 per litre, recording a hike of 31 paise. Diesel prices have remained unchanged since the hike on July 15, 2021.
