PETA India asks Amul to switch to producing vegan milk and benefit from the growing vegan milk and food market.
Due to the concerning demand for vegan food and beverages, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India has urged Indian dairy cooperative society Amul to take a decision to switch to producing vegan milk that today’s customers want. PETA India Vegan Outreach Coordinator Dr Kiran Ahuja said, 'Much of the world, and that includes India, has turned sour dairy over animal welfare, environment and health concerns.' PETA wrote a letter to Amul Managing Director RS Sodhi saying, 'the dairy cooperative society should benefit from the booming vegan food and milk market'.More Related News
