Patna: Murder of two transgenders triggers protest

Dozens of transgenders protested against the Nitish Kumar-led National Democratic Alliance government on Tuesday over the killing of two transgenders in Patna.

Fumed with anger after the killing of two transgenders in Patna, dozens of transgenders protested against the Nitish Kumar-led National Democratic Alliance government on Tuesday. The transgender community gathered to protest against the government and shouted slogans against them.

As per the reports, the community was irked after a transgender, identified as Soni, was shot dead at Chiraiyatad Bridge, near Kankarbagh locality, yesterday.
